Dillon Burns
LEad Pastor
Dillon has served as lead pastor at Okemos Community Church since July of 2023. Previously, he pastored Manchester United Methodist Church and has served in pastoral ministry since his commissioning in 2017. He was ordained an Elder in the United Methodist Church in 2020. Though a Michigan native, he went to school in Texas, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Christian University, followed by a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. Dillon is passionate about helping all people experience God’s transforming love and working collaboratively with congregations to develop and grow in vibrant ministry.

Allie Williams
Associate PastorAllie comes to us from St. John’s United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Missouri where she has been their Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries for over 5 years. Allie’s undergraduate degree is from Fort Hays State University with a major in Art History and a minor in Philosophy with an emphasis in Biblical Studies. She earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri Kansas City, where she was named the Outstanding Female Law Student of the Year. She practiced law focused on assisting low income and elderly clients in Kansas City, but felt called to something different. When her home church in Natoma, Kansas was without a pastor, Allie had the opportunity to fill in as a Lay Speaker and was then assigned as pastor of Natoma and Pleasant Plains United Methodist Churches in central Kansas. She pastored those congregations for three years

Scott Hardy
Director of Youth Ministries
Scott leads the youth programming at Okemos Community Church, including both regular youth group gatherings throughout the year and leading a youth mission trip every summer.

Alex Gerleman
Director of Music Ministries
Alex is an accomplished musician and in addition to leading the church's music ministries and directing the chancel choir, Alex is pursuing a doctoral degree in choral conducting at Michigan State University. Prior to his graduate studies, Alex was a choral director at Shakopee High School in Shakopee, Minnesota. As a vocalist, Alex has served as Bass section leader of Magnum Chorum in St. Louis Park, MN, and Assistant Conductor/Bass Section Leader of the WCC Chancel Choir in Wayzata, MN. Alex holds a MM in Choral Conducting from Baylor University and a BM in Vocal Music Education from St. Olaf College.

Noah Miller
Director of Production
Noah oversees the audio and video aspects of worship and performances at Okemos Community Church, ensuring that all services are livestreamed and accessible to those worshipping in the sanctuary or from home.

Beth Baldwin
church administrator
Beth came to Okemos Community Church from the business world where she held a variety of positions in corporate, retail, and medical settings. She oversees the office, administrative and clerical work, calendar and building use.

MARICIA JAQUEZ
Administrative assistant
Maricia is the first voice you'll hear and the first face you see when you contact Okemos Community Church. She loves people and is happy to greet and serve you. Maricia has many roles and ensures the office is ran efficiently.

Mark Brunner
Building Manager
Mark is an "amateur" photographer (who happens to have had a photo named one of Life Magazine's most important pictures of the year). He enjoys traveling the world off of the tourist trek to meet and interact with local people. He's a beekeeper, too, and enjoys riding his bike. Mark brings years of experience managing buildings and fleets for a non-profit serving persons with brain injuries. He always has a kind word and ready smile.

Marci Hooper

Marci is deeply involved in many ministries at Okemos Community Church, from the OCC Women to international mission trips. Her heart is in serving others. She manages the financial books and records with her accountant's skill.
