Church School

Church School takes place most Sundays for grades Preschool (age 4) through Middle School (Junior High). High School (Senior High) may take part in worship or other "Sundays in Service" options.

  • All children and youth begin service together with the congregation.
  • Upon arrival in the lobby, parents/guardian and children will "check-in" before heading into service.
  • About 10 minutes into service, elementary age children are invited to the front for "A Time For All."
  • After this time together, children, youth, teachers and teaching assistants leave the sanctuary together and attend church school until the end of service.
  • Parents/guardian will "check-out" their students at the classroom and then may take part in post-service refreshments and activities.

Our Curriculum

Our elementary church school program uses Orange 252 Kids Curriculum.

Orange curriculum is created to combine the two most important elements of a child's faith: the Heart of the Family and the Light of the Church

Orange's 252 Kids is based on the three basic, but powerful truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52 ("Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and found favor with God and people"):

1. I need to make the wise choice.

2. I can trust God no matter what.

3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

252 Kids Curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids to grow in their relationship with Jesus, using Bible stories, faith skills, and practical applications of God's Truth.
