The Okemos Community

Food Pantry

The Okemos Community Food Pantry

The Okemos Community Food Pantry operates weekly drive-through distribution of food and personal care products to food-insecure Okemos families. Distribution takes place at Okemos Community Church on Wednesdays between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm, by appointment only. Visitors to the Pantry receive approximately 10 days of pre-packed food and personal care products. Absent exigent circumstances, we can serve each household once a month. We seek to accommodate our guests’ allergies and dietary restrictions as best we can.

To make an appointment, call 517-349-4220 during church office hours, which are M-TH, 9am - 2pm. Please call for an appointment before 11 am on the Monday before the day you want to pick up your order.

You can help fight hunger in Okemos! We accept monetary donations, non-perishable food items, fresh produce, and new or unopened personal care products (e.g., toilet paper, laundry soap, toothpaste). Donations of non-perishable food and personal care items can be placed on the black cart in front of the church entry door M-Th 9am-2pm. Fresh produce from your garden can be dropped off Mon & Tues 9am-2pm or Wed morning between 8:30 and 9am. Please mail your monetary donations to:
